Quite simply, this is the best wood you can possibly buy from us. And I think you'd struggle to find better wood from anyone else anywhere in the country. It's dense and kiln dried to a very low moisture level - Often below 10% as seen in the photo with the moisture meter reading. We recommend closing the vents on your fire right down to control the burn of such a dry wood.
Beech contains the most energy by weight of any species of wood. Because of this, many stove manufacturers highly recommend it!
Delivered using a crane and pallet truck, so can be manoeuvred on flat ground to a place of your choosing.
Total dimensions including the crate are 111cm x 110cm x 76cm. Logs are uniformly cut to a 25cm length.
We can deliver 4 crates at a time and if you want to group together with neighbours and order at the same time, we can do you discounted shipping. You can all still pay separately.
This product is very efficiently stacked and drier than our other products so shouldn't be compared by volume.
This is the same product as the Bag of Kiln Dried Beech and because it is stacked so efficiently, it contains about the same amount of logs as 2 of those bags.
Mr. Logs is Ready To Burn Certified by Woodsure. All of our Ready to Burn products are dried to below a 20% moisture level and we are audited every year.
