Choose between our 2m³ or 3m³ loads of freshly cut, 'green' premium hardwood. Selecting a bulk truckload offers our biggest savings yet for those who like to plan ahead — both in your pocket and on plastic packaging!
Choose Your Size:
- 2m³ Load: The equivalent volume of four of our standard bulk bags.
- 3m³ Load: The equivalent volume of six of our standard bulk bags for maximum winter storage.
Known for being incredibly dense, our Platinum Hardwood provides a long, steady burn and maximum heat output. Logs are cut to approximately 25cm, which is ideal for stoves of 5kW and above.

Because these logs are unseasoned, they currently have a high moisture content. You must not burn this wood immediately. Burning wet wood provides very little heat, produces excessive smoke, and causes dangerous soot and tar buildup in your chimney or flue. Please note: Because hardwood is extremely dense, it typically requires a longer seasoning time than softwood.
To get the most out of your purchase, stack and store these logs in a sunny, well-aired log store at home, and check them with a moisture meter before you burn them.

This wood is not suitable for burning until it has been dried. You should not burn wood until it has a moisture content of 20% or less. Wet wood contains moisture which creates smoke and harmful particulates when burnt. As well as being harmful to your health and the environment, this can damage your stove and chimney and is an inefficient way to heat your home.
Dry it in a sunny, well-aired space for at least two years, keeping rain off in the winter. Radial cracks and bark that comes off easily suggests wood that is ready for burning. Test the wood when you think it is ready for burning, ideally with a moisture meter. First calibrate the meter and then measure a freshly split surface to get the best reading.
