Our locally sourced B Grade Woodchip is a highly versatile, cost-effective solution for heavy-duty ground cover, animal enclosures, and low-maintenance landscaping.
What is "B Grade" Woodchip?
B Grade is the unsorted chip that remains after our premium batches have been visually graded. It has a more rustic, natural appearance and typically features:
- A wider variety of shred sizes, including larger chunks of wood.
- A higher percentage of green matter mixed in.
Volume and Packaging Benefits
- Tipped Load Volume: Roughly 3.5 cubic metres, which equates to approximately 5 of our standard builder's bulk bags.
- Eco and Wallet Friendly: Ordering a tipped load saves on plastic bag waste, as well as saving you some money in the process!
- Flexible Options: This amount can also be delivered in bags if preferred. Need a different quantity? We also do boot bags, bulk bags and lorry loads.

⚠ Important Safety Note
This is not certified play-grade bark. Because of the variable shred size, we cannot guarantee it is completely free of sharp wood shrapnel. We strictly advise against walking on this woodchip with bare feet, and extra caution should be taken if using it in or around children's play areas.
Responsibly Sourced
All our woodchip is 100% locally and responsibly sourced. We only chip recycled trees that have been cut down through legitimate removal orders—we never use trees felled for the sole purpose of being shredded.
Delivery Information and Tipping Requirements
- ⚠ Tipping Access: Please ensure there is adequate space for the delivery vehicle to be able to tip. The delivery area must be on a flat surface with hard standing.
- Failed Deliveries: Please note that failed deliveries due to inadequate access or unsafe tipping conditions will be charged for.
- Split the Cost: If local friends or neighbours want to order at the same time, we can split the delivery charge! Please get in touch with us to arrange this.
