Unbanded scaffold boards are a versatile and budget-friendly material ideal for a wide range of gardening and construction uses. Made from strong and durable timber, they’re great for decking, planters, raised beds, garden furniture, and temporary construction work.
Our scaffold boards are untreated, so you can apply your own choice of treatment, preservative, or colour to suit your project. They’re available in a range of lengths from 0.9m to 3.9m, all with a standard width of 225mm and depth of 38mm.
⚠️ Please note: These scaffold boards are not pressure treated or graded to Use Class 3 or 4 (C3/C4), so they are not certified for ground contact or permanent structural use. Many customers still choose to use them for outdoor projects, but this is at your discretion.
Also, as a natural, unfinished timber product, the boards will continue to dry and season over time, which may lead to cracking, splitting, and slight movement. This is a normal part of the wood’s behaviour and not considered a defect.
